OBJECTIVE

The objective was to redefine the flight booking experience for the users, to be able to book flights with the least amount of effort, help reduce drop off rates and increase conversion

CHALLENGE

The main challenge was to be able to roll out the designs in phases to a certain group of users as an alpha test, make iterations based on the learnings and roll out the full version.

IMPACT

The Conversion rates increased, home screen engagement rates increased, Number of bookings also saw a spike

ROADMAP AND TIMELINE

The redesign was done in 3 phases, The following approach was taken for a seamless roll out for update designs
Started with the desktop first followed by the Android and iOS devices, each sCreen was tested with a certain set of users and bugs and issues were fixed before rolling out for all the customers, this approach helped in a seamless redesign roll out.
